Wyoming Day 11

The day started of cool but sunny, and we got a lot of work done in the morning. We still have a number of bones that I haven’t been able to identify yet. Francis, Stacey, and Amy are working on one of these unidentified bones below:

We also found several new bones, one of which Mary is working on below:

The bone appears to be a small vertebra:

There also seem to be two layers of bones. Brett is digging deeper below the bonebed, looking for additional bones further down.

Storms moved back in after lunch, but we still got 5 good hours in before having to cover the site. Once again, we got to the paved road just as the rain arrived.
