    Thank you for these posts. They were very informative. They will certainly come in handy when i need to cast large small stuff (that is, if i can ever find anything to cast). Is the process the same for large fossils? For invertebrates? Fossils in slabs, like those from Solite?

    Slabs are quite a bit easier, because they can be done as a one-part mold rather than a two-part. But the basic techniques are the same.
