Governor McAuliffe viewed a caddisfly from the Solite Quarry, the holotype specimen of Eobalaenoptera harrisoni, and various whales in the lab currently undergoing preparation. We also discussed the now-almost-completed Castoroides mount that we’ve been working on for the last few months. Ray, Tim, and I also did a short casting demonstration in which we poured and demolded a cast of the humerus of Eobalaenoptera.
Thanks to Governor McAuliffe and his staff for taking time out of their busy schedule to stop by the lab and see what we’ve been up to!
Edited for clarity.
