The Paleontology Department is spending the day in Gastonia, North Carolina to participate in the Schiele Museum of Natural History Fossil Fair.
As with other shows we’ve attended recently, we’re displaying and selling a range of casts from Carmel Church, Saltville, and other localities. The stars of our display booth are the Earlham Castoroides and Buttercup.
So far we’ve had about 300 people stop by our booth, and the fair continues for another 2 hours. If you’re in the Gastonia area, stop by and say hello.
Update: We’re now on our way home, after having almost 400 visitors stop by the booth. Thanks to the Schiele Museum of Natural History for inviting us to participate in this year’s fossil fair.
